The Taylor Ranch Neighborhood on Albuquerque's West Side boasts one of the prime locations in the entire city.  Surrounded by natural wonders and scenic views in every direction.  But is has also weathered its share of challenges during the last few decades, a subject explored in a new video on the history of the area.

Mariposa Basin Park

Right across from the Don Newton Taylor Ranch Community Center, this Park is the largest in Taylor Ranch and has ample parking for its many facilities. Paved jogging and bike riding trails extend from this park along arroyos throughout parts of Taylor Ranch. Multiple baseball, football, and soccer fields exists. There are several play areas and ponds with carp.

This center offers programs for all age groups. Youth over 11 are welcome in most adult classes. Some programs charge fees and the fee is listed. Class schedules change in the fall so check this page again at the end of summer.
